Ship's Wheel Resort is a small family ran resort offering a quiet atmosphere with personal friendly service. Ship's Wheel is located 8 miles from Baudette on the Rainy River and approximately 4 miles from the Gap where the Rainy River enters Lake of the Woods. Our resort is set back from the river in a small protected bay, The view from your cabin is the legendary Rainy River and the Canadian Wilderness. We're as close as you can get to Canada without actually being there, draw an imaginary line down the middle of the Rainy River half is the United States and Half is Canada.
ICE FISHING For the winter months we have heated ice fishing houses that can be reached by a plowed ice road. Each house is equipped with gas heat and lights.
